Enjoy a breathtaking 3-day journey through the beautiful Moroccan landscape to the summit of Jebel Toukbal, the highest mountain peak in Northern Africa. Stop at sights along the way, including the village of Imlil and the shrine of Sidi Chamarouch.
Climb the highest peak in Morocco and North Africa, Jebel Toubkal or Mont Toubkal with its summit at 4167m, it’s an adventure of life, only takes 2 days and 60 km from Marrakech to the valley of Imlil (called petit Chamonix) the starting point of the trek.
Trekking. Contemplating the High Atlas Mountains from afar – or even from eye level with Imlil as a base – cannot make your experience with Moroccan landscapes beautiful and exotic. With countless guides, both private and in groups, available for expeditions, it is almost not worth the trip to Imlil without the trek. And the pinnacle – both figurative and literal – of hiking the High Andes is the 13,670-foot summit of Mt. Toubkal.
